Be like the Little Children – My thought from CMC

CMC

My name is Chenchen Liu, I’m a student in Boston. It was my first time joins the CMC. It was such a blessing to attend it. I have heard so many great testimonies, great seminaries, and have met many people that who love Jesus. One of the most memorable experiences was being a volunteer in the Children ministry.

I registered to be a volunteer in CMC. I got an email said that I will be on a decoration team. When I arrived, I called the leader of the decoration group; he told me that they don’t need people anymore. I felt disappointed. The people who assign volunteers told me that children ministry really needs people! I had no choice but Children ministry. I didn’t really want to join at the time because I would miss many of the seminars.

I was in the 2nd-5th-grade group. On the first night, they were doing “The steps of Jesus” to help the children follow Jesus’s steps. There were 6 tables, each table has a different topic. There were some topics like God is powerful, forgiveness, God never forget anybody even though some of the people are easily to be forgotten, pray for the countries that do not allow Christians to tell people their faith. One of the girls made me feel very impressed. She said she wants to pray for the orphans in China, whose parents died of HIV. She wrote a long prayer for the orphans and put on the map. Another 4th grader boy said he wants to pray for North Korea because it’s really hard for people to hear the Gospel in there. I was so touched by those little kids. Their hearts are very soft and pure to God. Like Jesus said,“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”(Mat19:14)

Those little children are praying for the whole world to know Jesus. We are teaching them to catch God’s Global Vision. Hope we are not just a teacher, but we are really joining it and doing it like what we teach!

I’m ready for God’s global vision, what about you?
